Cory Tolbert Haik

Cory Tolbert Haik is a new-media journalist who has won awards for her professional and academic work. Her most recent as a member of the online news team covering Hurricane Katrina helping net the Times-Picayune a Pulitzer Prize for Public Service and Breaking News reporting.

She holds an MA in Communication Theory from the University of New Orleans. Cory is Senior Producer for Interactivity and Projects at the Seattle Times where she lives with her husband and two children.
